WARN Act filings, explained

The WARN Act is a US federal law requiring companies to give 60 days' advance notice before a mass layoff or plant closing affecting 100 or more employees. This is public government data, checked against the Department of Labor's filings on every lookup.

This section is available to subscribers on any plan, and only appears for roles at US companies or at large global companies with significant US operations.

If a company has an active WARN filing, your report shows when it was filed, how many employees were affected, and which locations were named, with a link to the original filing on dol.gov.

If a company has no WARN filings on record, your report shows that directly, confirmed against the same public database.

For roles outside the US, this section only reflects the company's US operations. It won't reflect layoffs or restructuring happening outside the US, since the WARN Act itself only applies to US employees.
