How lookups work

A lookup happens whenever you paste a job posting URL into JobGauge and get back a report. JobGauge currently supports job listings from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Subscribers get a set number of reports per month depending on their plan: 10 for Basic, 15 for Standard, and 25 for Pro. These reset each billing period.

Saving a role stores a snapshot of the report as it looked when you saved it. Viewing a saved role doesn't trigger a new lookup or use your quota, it just shows you that snapshot.

Monitoring a role is different. JobGauge checks monitored roles every 30 days and alerts you if something changes. That scheduled check doesn't use your quota either. But if you go back to a monitored role yourself and the data is stale, refreshing it early can count as a billable report.
