JobGauge offers three subscription plans: Basic, Standard, and Pro. All three include the same features. The difference between them is how many reports and monitored roles you get each month.

Saved roles are unlimited on every plan. There are no report packs or one-time purchases. All plans are recurring subscriptions, billed either monthly or annually.

What counts against your report quota

Each new lookup on a role you haven't looked up before counts as one report against your monthly quota. Viewing a saved role doesn't use your quota, since it just shows the snapshot from when you saved it. Scheduled monitoring checks also don't use your quota, since those run automatically every 30 days.

If you go back to a monitored role yourself and choose to refresh it early, that refresh can count as a billable report.

Your quota resets at the start of each billing period, whether you're on a monthly or annual plan.

What happens after you submit a review

Every review is pending until it's approved. You'll get an email confirming your review was received, and another email once a decision is made.

JobGauge reserves the right to reject a review if it's flagged for fraud, duplication, or other factors that affect the integrity of our review data. If your review is rejected, it won't appear on the company's page.

You can also check the status of any review you've submitted from your account page.

Understanding the status badge

Every role report shows a status badge at the top: a label and a color.

The label tells you what's happening with the listing. Clean means no prior posting history was found. Renewed and Relisted show a count, like "Renewed 2×" or "Relisted 3×," so you can see how many cycles the listing has gone through. Closed means the listing is no longer active on any board we track.

The color reflects how many cycles the listing has gone through and whether salary changed between them:

Green — a clean posting, a single renewal, or a single relisting with an increased salary
Amber — two renewals, or a relisting with no salary change
Coral — three or more renewals, or multiple relistings where salary decreased
Gray — the listing is closed

Writing a candidate review

Anyone can write a candidate experience review. You'll need to sign in first, either with LinkedIn or Google, to verify you're a real professional and to prevent duplicate submissions. Your identity is never connected to your published review. Once submitted, your name and any identifying information are permanently separated from your response.

The review takes about five minutes and covers eight short sections: your job search status, the role and company, the interview process, the recruiter, the hiring manager, any take-home exercise, the outcome, and your overall assessment. Some sections can be skipped if they don't apply to your experience, like the hiring manager or take-home sections.

You'll be asked whether you were ghosted at any point, meaning the employer went silent with no rejection and no explanation after you'd already spoken with someone on their team. You can also share, in your own words, what the company did well and what the next candidate should know, both published anonymously.

If you need to stop partway through, your progress is saved as a draft so you can pick it up later.

Saving a role

Saving a role stores it to your account so you can find it again later. It's available on any subscription plan, with no limit on how many roles you can save.

To save a role, open its report and select Save this role in the sidebar. Saved roles show up on your account page, where you can view them anytime.

Saving a role doesn't check for changes on its own. If you want JobGauge to actively watch a role and alert you when something changes, use monitoring instead.
